Track View

Provides viewing and reporting of track condition data including geometry, GRMS, rail wear, profile, and rail flaws.  Data is graphically represented on route maps that are drawn from GPS coordinates and can be overlaid on satellite, terrain and street-view maps.  Track condition and exception reports can be generated by menu-driven search tools that can be customized for each user. Includes geometry and rail wear queries, strip charts, and wear trend charts that graphically show how track degrades over time or tonnage.

Track Analyst

A full-featured analysis and reporting software package for track and rail measurement data.  Geometry, GRMS, rail wear, profile, and rail defect data, presented together, provide a complete picture of track conditions.  Trending analysis shows rate of change over time.  Tools include multi-year rail replacement planning, tie planning, and budgeting. Incorporates all features of Track View, including GPS-derived route and satellite/terrain mapping, track condition charts, rail profile display and queries, geometry queries, and a full complement of menu-driven reports.

Track Analyst Enterprise

Scaled to work with an Oracle or SQL Server-based database that is capable of managing track geometry, GRMS, rail wear and rail flaw testing data from thousands of miles of track and several years of testing. The Track Analyst Enterprise system combines all of a railroad’s track test data in a single database, allowing reports for a subdivision, division or an entire system to be generated without leaving the application.  The Enterprise system includes all of the planning tools, queries, charts, reports and mapping capabilities found in Track View and Track Analyst.

Grind Analyst

Planning and Quality Assurance software works with previously-collected data in the office, or “live” data in the field to provide complete control of rail grinding programs.   Shows the required metal removal in graph form to guide pattern selection and grinding speeds.  The grinding plan can be used to generate instructions for the rail grinder.  Post-grind profiles can be overlaid on the pre-grind plan to determine how close the actual profiles are to the target profiles. Used with Track View, Track Analyst or Office System.

Wheel Analyst

Combines wheel and rail profile data to show interaction at the wheel/rail interface.  Wheel Analyst identifies wear trends for measurements such as flange angle, flange height and thickness, tread wear, tread width, field lip and wheel gauge.  Measured wheel profiles can be superimposed on “design” profiles to determine metal-removal rates for wheel truing programs, and to determine profiles to optimize wheel/rail interaction.  Wheel Analyst can be used with Track View, Track Analyst, or Office System.

Office System

Combines and manages geometry, GRMS, optical rail measurement, and rail flaw data in a relational database that provides the information about track conditions that is needed to make informed engineering decisions. Office System tools can recognize rail weights, calculate measurements, and align data to achieve the data quality required to support higher-level reporting.  Statistical analysis and calculations build on high volumes of track test data to produce information for near- and long-term planning.
