Roller Line Welding
Roller Line Welding
When Continuous Welded Rail (CWR) needs to be installed at a given location, Holland's Roller-Line Welding solutions are designed to meet your project's needs. Roller-Line Welding allows field welding of stick rail into Continuous Welded Rail while delivering the same high quality flash-butt weld as a fixed plant at a competitive cost. Railroads, transits, ports, contractors, and other customers choose portable Roller-Line Welding for the
following reasons:- Smaller weld quantities make rail train delivery of CWR too expensive.
- High daily productivity of portable flash-butt welding (40-60 welds per 8-hour shift) is required vs. less productive thermite welding or joint bar installation.
- CWR is needed where no current tracks exist, eliminating the feasibility of CWR train delivery.
Whether your job requires 10 welds or 5,000 welds, Holland® can design and propose a field welding solution that will deliver safe, highly productive, high quality, low cost flash-butt welds. Armed with the world's largest fleet of portable electric flash-butt welders, Holland® has the expertise, equipment availability, and flexible automation options to tackle field-welding projects of any size.
