Holland's All Terrain Mobile Welder

The Holland® ATMW was designed to deliver Holland's high quality electric flash-butt welds while offering greater flexibility and functionality.  The original concept of the ATMW was to enable flash-butt welding in-track while not occupying the track.  Many railroads have sections of track with right-of-way roads in close proximity to the railroad.  In this application, the ATMW can provide flash-butt welds for plug replacement or joint elimination in very short track windows.

The ATMW is Hi-Rail equipped, which increases the functionality by enabling the unit to climb on or off track for access to areas of the track without right-of-way roads or to clear for traffic.  The 25 foot reach enables welding on adjacent tracks.
