Holland's Rail Trains

Not only does Holland® provide the ability for superb welding applications of rail, it also offers the production and assembly of quality Rail Trains.  Our standard Continuous Welded Rail (CWR) Rail Train is a 24 car, dual-purpose, 60 rack design.  It is made to handle 1600 foot long continuous welded rail.  Its design is made to be within the Plate 'C' envelope dimensions.   However, custom rail trains can be made to accomodate your project.

Holland's standard rail train consists of:

• 2 - End Cars:

1. Blast doors with elevating lift roller assembly
2. 60 Pocket Roller Stand with steel rollers and side access ladder
3. Catwalk system
4. Fold down corner platforms
5. All necessary safety appliances
   
   

• 21 - Roller Stand Cars:

1. 2 - 60 Pocket Roller Stands with side access ladders
2. Catwalk system
3. Fold down corner platforms
4. All necessary safety applications

• 1 - Tiedown Car

1. 1 - 60 Pocket Roller Stand
2. 1 - 60 Pocket Tiedown Stand with hold down shoes, bolts, nuts, etc.
3. 1 - Crew Hut at center of the car
4. Tool storage box
5. GENSET to power lights & impact tools
6. Lights mounted to light work area
7. Side access ladders, railings, catwalk
8. Fold down corner platforms
9. All necessary safety appliances
